A Spiritual and Religious
Biography
I have spent at least the
last 26 years on a spiritual
journey, which took me down
many different paths where I
studied a variety of
metaphysical, spiritual,
religious, self-help, human
potential and personal growth
tools, philosophies and
practices. In the process, I
learned successful ways to use
my thoughts, feelings, actions,
and spiritual practices to
positively create what I want
in my life, to move through
fear and doubt to achieve my
goals and to generally live my
life more fully.
Although much of my own
work -- the non-fiction
books and articles I
write and the talks I give
-- revolve around Jewish
mystical topics, they
incorporate much broader
metaphysical and spiritual
concepts as well and apply
to Jews and non-Jews alike.
I concentrate my attention
both personally and
professionally on infusing
traditional religious
rituals with meaning and
Divine connection, on
developing positive
spiritual approaches to
life and on learning how to
manifest goals and dreams.
I do this based on my
knowledge of Judaism and
its mystical tradition,
meditation, metaphysics,
and human potential and
personal growth techniques.
I believe I am an
“Everywoman” – an average
person – whose struggles
and successes are not
unlike anyone else's.
Therefore, I write and
teach from a place of
knowing that we all share
similar experiences and
that what has worked for me
will likely work for others
– or at least it will give
them a starting place from
which to find what works
best for them. This is
where my spiritual journey
meets my work and hopefully
connects me with all those
I encounter through my
writing and teaching.
